A 27-year-old woman presents for her initial prenatal visit. Her last menstrual period was certain and predicts an estimated due date of July 10. She reports regular 28-day cycles and no bleeding. Transvaginal ultrasound today shows a singleton intrauterine pregnancy with cardiac activity and crown-rump length consistent with 8 weeks 6 days, predicting an estimated due date of July 20. Which estimated due date should be used for pregnancy dating?
First-trimester crown-rump length is the most accurate dating method. Before 9 weeks, an ultrasound-LMP discrepancy greater than 5 days should revise the EDD, so July 20 is correct. A is tempting because the LMP is certain, but the 10-day discrepancy exceeds the threshold. D is incorrect because guidelines do not average dates. C is incorrect because waiting for second-trimester biometry is less accurate when a reliable first-trimester scan is available.

The guided drills were the difference. I stopped re-reading notes and started doing timed sets. My scores jumped in two weeks.
The explanations are crisp and the pacing is perfect. I used the active recall prompts every night and it stuck.
I loved the frameworks and examples. Prioritization became obvious, and the drills fixed my weak spots fast.
