Accredited education provider

Exam prep built under a reviewed, accredited system.

MedExPrep is accredited as an Education Provider by the Commission for Health, Safety & Professional Standards, Inc. (CHSPS).

What the review looks at

Education Provider accreditation covers the whole system behind our courses, not a single course. Reviewers also sample live courses to check the system works in practice.

  1. 01

    Educational governance

Who is responsible for course quality, how decisions are made and documented, and how conflicts of interest are handled.

  2. 02

    Needs and planning

Courses start from what the exam actually tests: each certifying body's published content outline.

  3. 03

    Content and faculty

How lessons and questions are written, sourced and reviewed, and who is qualified to review them.

  4. 04

    Delivery and engagement

How learners get the material: lessons, practice questions, explanations, audio and study tools that work on any device.

  5. 05

    Assessment of learning

Whether practice questions and exams measure what they claim to, with an answer key and explanation for every item.

  6. 06

    Evaluation and improvement

How learner reports, performance data and outline changes feed back into fixes and updates.

What it means for you

  • A reviewed process behind every course

How we plan, write, check and update content was examined against published standards.

  • It stays current

We report to CHSPS every year, and material changes are reported before they happen. Accreditation is renewed every three years.

  • You can check it yourself

The official record on chsps.org/verify is the proof, not the seal on this page.

What it does not mean

  • Not an exam owner's endorsement

Exams belong to their certifying bodies. MedExPrep is independent and not affiliated with them.

  • Not a license or certification for you

You still earn your license or credential from your exam board.

  • Not a pass guarantee

It speaks to how our courses are built and maintained. Your result depends on your preparation.

Who accredits MedExPrep?

The Commission for Health, Safety & Professional Standards, Inc. (CHSPS), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit accreditor based in Washington, DC. MedExPrep holds CHSPS Education Provider accreditation.

What kind of accreditation is it?

Education Provider accreditation, reviewed against the CHSPS-EDP-300 standard. It looks at the whole system we use to build, deliver and improve our courses, and reviewers sample live courses to check that the system works in practice.

How long does it last?

Education Provider accreditation runs for three years. Each year we report to CHSPS, and changes that could affect the review, such as changes to scope, delivery or governance, are reported before they happen.

How can I check it?

Use the official verification record on chsps.org/verify. A seal or logo on a website is not proof by itself; the verification record is.

Does accreditation mean MedExPrep is official prep for my exam?

No. Exams are owned by their certifying bodies, such as NCSBN, NBME, NABP and ADA. Accreditation is about the quality of our education system. It does not mean an exam owner endorses or is affiliated with MedExPrep.

Does it guarantee that I will pass?

No study tool can guarantee a score. Accreditation means our courses are built and maintained under a reviewed system. Your result still depends on your preparation.
