Read the passage: Community gardens do more than produce vegetables. They give neighbors a shared reason to meet, turn unused lots into useful spaces, and provide fresh foods in areas with few grocery stores. Although gardens require planning and regular upkeep, many towns find that the social and nutritional benefits make the effort worthwhile.
What is the main idea of the passage?
Choice C is correct because it captures the broad controlling idea: community gardens provide several community benefits. Choice A focuses on a limitation mentioned near the end, but it is only a supporting detail. Choice B is too narrow because food access is one benefit, not the entire point. Choice D is also too narrow because transforming lots is only one example. A main idea should cover the whole passage rather than one detail.

I loved the frameworks and examples. Prioritization became obvious, and the drills fixed my weak spots fast.
