A patient arrives for a scheduled whole-body bone scan. Before administering technetium-99m MDP, you compare the wristband, verbal identifiers, dose label, and electronic order. The wristband shows Jordan Patel, DOB 04/12/1970, but the order and dose label show Jordyn Patel, DOB 04/12/1970 with a different medical record number. The indication and procedure otherwise match. What should you do next?
Identity mismatch is a preadministration safety stop because wrong-patient or wrong-dose events can occur when identifiers conflict. D is correct: verify two identifiers and reconcile patient, order, procedure, and radiopharmaceutical before proceeding. B is unsafe; matching DOB and procedure do not override a conflicting MRN. A is tempting, but demographic/order corrections must follow authorized registration, provider, or institutional processes, not unilateral technologist editing. C is not valid verification; patient recall cannot substitute for order and identifier matching.

The guided drills were the difference. I stopped re-reading notes and started doing timed sets. My scores jumped in two weeks.
The explanations are crisp and the pacing is perfect. I used the active recall prompts every night and it stuck.
I loved the frameworks and examples. Prioritization became obvious, and the drills fixed my weak spots fast.
