Goals:
- By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- Explain the CPS CRAS exam preparation framework, including any available blueprint domains, competency areas, or inferred preparation domains, and use them to prioritize study.
- Master the high-yield concepts, terminology, definitions, rules, and distinctions most likely to be tested for CRAS-level preparation.
- Apply concepts in realistic, exam-style scenarios involving procedural reasoning, judgment, interpretation, documentation, prioritization, and multi-step decision-making.
- Solve calculation, logic, and stepwise reasoning tasks accurately when applicable, showing setup, governing rule, execution, and verification.
- Distinguish common distractors, misconceptions, boundary cases, and near-miss answer choices that commonly affect exam performance.
- Use a consistent problem-solving framework on every question: identify the task → extract key facts → select the governing rule or framework → execute → verify.
- Build retrieval-ready memory using concise tables, checklists, comparison charts, algorithms, and spaced review summaries.
- Demonstrate readiness through self-check questions and mini-assessments mapped to each blueprint area or, if the official blueprint is unavailable, to clearly labeled inferred preparation domains.
- Coverage & Blueprint Mapping Requirements:
- Every chapter, section, subsection, and topic must map to at least one CPS CRAS blueprint domain, objective, competency, or clearly labeled inferred preparation domain.
- If the official CRAS blueprint is broad, incomplete, or unavailable, translate coverage into teachable subskills using consistent tags in the format: DOMAIN: Objective -> Subskill.
